K9 Thor is a 7.5 month old Belgian Malinois...He is a rad little dude AND the newest member of the RYP PSA Club. Here is a quick feature of some of the work we have been doing over the last month during his 4 week 'PSA Prep' board and train program.
PSA (Protection Sports Association) is a growing sport that challenges K9s and their handlers to work as a team through advanced levels of obedience and protection while navigating environmental scenarios, stressors and obstacles.
The RYP PSA Club currently meets every week to train, plan and prepare for future trials. In 2019 we will be hosting workshops as well as traveling out of state with our K9s to continue our education and collaborate with other trainers/handlers. To compete at any level in this sport requires incredible dedication and years of consistent training...so it helps to have a fun supportive bunch to work with 🙂
