Kat has been working with and around RYP for over 2 years and officially came on board as a trainer a few months ago. A policy I have maintained for myself has always been to set aside time each year for continuing education and I told Kat that part of working at RYP would be to keep up that tradition... Right away she dug in and achieved her first advanced certification in pet training from Top Tier K9 Dog Trainer School. To achieve this certification Kat had to participate in a live online classroom with trainers around the country twice a week for 8 weeks. Throughout her study she demonstrated her abilities and was tested on all things dog communication, training and well being. Once that was done she flew down to Florida for 2 weeks of on location training and testing @ Top Tier K9. Working through these programs is a tremendous commitment of time, energy and financial expense - RYP is thrilled to have such a dedicated individual be apart of our training staff.
